Okemo Valley Trails (OVT) is a volunteer-led, non-profit trail stewardship organization based in Ludlow, Vermont. The organization's mission is to advocate for mountain biking while developing, maintaining, and promoting sustainable, multi-use trails serving Ludlow, Cavendish, Proctorsville and Mount Holly. OVT is an official chapter of the Vermont Mountain Bike Association (VMBA).

Formerly known as Ludlow Area Sport Trails (LAST), the organization adopted the Okemo Valley Trails name in 2026 to reflect its broader regional focus beyond Ludlow. While mountain biking remains central to its mission, the trails it stewards are intended for a wide range of human-powered recreation, including hiking, trail running and snowshoeing. OVT also welcomes Class 1 pedal-assist (e-bike) use where permitted.

OVT works closely with local municipalities, landowners, community organizations and VMBA to plan, build and maintain sustainable trail systems that provide year-round recreational opportunities while protecting the natural environment. The organization places a strong emphasis on volunteer stewardship, with regular trail work days, community rides, fundraising initiatives and educational outreach supporting both existing trails and future expansion.

Current initiatives include continued development of the Fletcher Farm trail network and the Connector Trails Project, an ambitious effort to create off-road trail connections between existing singletrack, neighbourhoods, schools, parks and community destinations throughout the Okemo Valley. The project aims to improve active transportation and create a more connected outdoor recreation network for residents and visitors alike.

As a VMBA chapter, OVT encourages supporters to become VMBA members while selecting Okemo Valley Trails as their local chapter. Memberships, donations, sponsorships and volunteer participation provide the resources needed to construct new trails, maintain existing infrastructure, purchase equipment and signage, and expand recreational access throughout the region.
