The Land Preservation Society, Inc. is a non-profit, independent conservation group chartered in 1970 by the State of Massachusetts. We are dedicated to conserving woodlands and wetlands for the protection of plant and animal species and the health of the planet.
LPS acknowledges that it owns land which was once a part of the original Wampanoag territory when explorers and settlers arrived in the 17th century.
