A Team of Volunteers
Mission Lead, Goal Driven
Each member of the Chillicothe Trails team operates on a volunteer basis. Our board consists of eight passionate members. While titles are listed, we operate on a flat structure where no task is too big or too small for each member of our team.
Outside of the core Chillicothe Trails organization, we have over 187 volunteers within our network. These volunteers are actively involved in helping make outdoor recreation the forefront of our community.
Our Objectives
Create more trails by providing the structure and organization for developing and maintaining sustainable trails.
Collaborate with local business owners, local/regional/state leadership, and private citizens to encourage investment and excitement around outdoor recreation
Educate trail users about sustainable trail building, Leave No Trace principles, outdoor advocacy, and conservation.
Empower citizens of all ages to explore the world through a natural, outdoor recreation-focused lens by providing safe trails and spaces to explore.
