I've always had great experiences here. I've always gotten good service and prices on parts have been fair for brick and mortar. Last wheel build was done here and the price was actually competitive with online custom wheel builds! I've been to most other shops in Chico and have always been disappointed in one way or another.
High End bike shop, with amazing mechanics who have tons of experience and have worked there for years. You can walk into this shop and get high end pedals....that day...or a high end bike. helmets, shoes, GoPro, clothes. Everything. If you think something is marked too high, ask them about it and they will work with you. Best bike shop I have ever been in, Im super lucky i live so close to a bike shop like this that I can buy what I see online in their store. Doesnt get any better!
Great shop, everyone is nice and very helpful. I go occasionally if I need a spare part, or specifically, I need an opinion I can trust on any suspension or drivetrain questions. The prices are a little up there, I do shop online mostly but they are a good lbs.
If you need a full service LBS in Chico, this is the one to visit. The service and parts are a little over-priced but the over-all work quality is pretty good. I won't go into great detail but this gets two stars because after 4-5 bike purchases including a high end Trek AM bike and endless referrals, I'm disappointed in how NRA treated me. I use to buy everything here. Now I buy everything online. Think about that before you spend major coin here.
Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. Bike and parts prices are reasonable. I like supporting local bike shops, especially this one.
