The River Valley Mountain Bike Association (RVMBA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Marietta, Ohio, dedicated to building, maintaining, and protecting mountain-biking opportunities throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley. The organization promotes environmentally and socially responsible mountain biking while working to expand access to sustainable hiking and mountain-bike trails across southeastern Ohio and western West Virginia.

RVMBA works with land managers at several major trail systems throughout the region, including the Marietta Trail Network, Mountwood Park, North Bend State Park, and the Marietta Unit of Wayne National Forest. Together, these systems provide a diverse range of riding, from accessible community singletrack to challenging Appalachian backcountry trails. RVMBA's current trail network encompasses nearly 200 miles of local singletrack within approximately a 45-minute drive of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

The Marietta Trail Network is a particular focus of RVMBA's work and connects more than 30 miles of mountain-bike trails with the historic city of Marietta. The association also supports the extensive riding at Mountwood Park in West Virginia, North Bend State Park, and the Marietta Unit of Wayne National Forest, where rugged terrain and longer backcountry routes provide some of the region's most challenging riding.

Trail stewardship is central to RVMBA's mission. Volunteers contribute substantial time to trail construction, maintenance, restoration, and improvement, working with land managers to develop sustainable trails that serve both mountain bikers and hikers. The association also organizes group rides, trail-building and maintenance days, community events, and programs such as Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day.

RVMBA is an IMBA chapter, connecting its local advocacy and stewardship efforts with the broader mountain-bike community. The organization also promotes the Mid-Ohio Valley as a destination for trail-based recreation through its River Valley Trails initiative, which highlights the region's extensive network of trails and the communities, outdoor recreation, and tourism opportunities surrounding them.

Through its partnerships with public land managers, extensive volunteer trail work, advocacy, events, and community programs, RVMBA plays a major role in developing and sustaining the Mid-Ohio Valley as a mountain-bike destination. Its work spans state parks, national forest lands, municipal trail systems, and regional recreation areas, creating an interconnected riding experience across the Ohio River Valley and Appalachian foothills.
