FOPSP Friends of Pocahontas State Park

FOPSP is a volunteer organization that supports all of the activities of Pocahontas State Park. In addition to funding Park interpretation and education programs, we supply all of the park's firewood (generating $$ for the trails) and manage 25 miles of singletrack. Two of our trail systems were hand built by volunteers. Our newest system, the Swift Creek trail System is being built by professional trail builders with volunteer support.
