JT trail also known by locals as the Jerry Trail is named for the benefactor that helped fund the large expanded Loop parking lot that is used by thousands of riders to access the Swift Creek trail system at Pocahontas State Park. JT trail is a natural surface rolling trail with several creek crossings, rated intermediate. Also built to accommodate aMTB (handcycle) users. Access the JT trail from either Taylor Forest parking area or connect via Hawkins Forest trail.
