The Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association (RFMBA) is a nonprofit mountain bike advocacy and trail stewardship organization dedicated to creating, maintaining, and protecting exceptional mountain biking trails and experiences throughout Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley and surrounding areas. RFMBA is an official chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA), connecting its local trail advocacy and stewardship work with the broader national mountain biking community.

RFMBA works across a broad region extending from New Castle to Aspen and from McClure Pass to Hagerman Pass. The organization collaborates closely with the White River National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, Pitkin County Open Space & Trails, and local municipalities to plan, build, maintain, and advocate for sustainable mountain bike trails.

The association supports an extensive regional trail network and has played a major role in establishing the Roaring Fork Valley as a nationally recognized mountain biking destination. The Aspen Snowmass/Roaring Fork Valley trail network received IMBA Gold Level Ride Center designation, recognizing the breadth and quality of the area's mountain biking opportunities.

RFMBA's work extends beyond trail construction and maintenance. Its programs include collaborative trail planning, public-land advocacy, volunteer trail stewardship, professional trail crews, community events, and education promoting responsible trail use. The organization also works with local volunteers and land managers to ensure that trails remain sustainable and enjoyable for riders of varying abilities.
