Il 25 e 26 ottobre IMBA Italia tornerà con il suo raduno annuale, e lo farà in grande stile. La quinta edizione del Gathering si svolgerà al Castello di Miradolo, a San Secondo di Pinerolo (TO), con il supporto di Turismo Torino e Provincia e di Upslowtour, nel contesto di un anniversario importante: i dieci anni dalla fondazione dell’associazione.
Il tema scelto per il 2025 è: “il turismo ciclistico su percorsi naturali come catalizzatore per lo sviluppo delle economie locali”. Un titolo che vuole aprire il confronto su modelli virtuosi di collaborazione tra enti turistici, attività economiche e associazioni MTB, in grado di generare valore nei territori meno centrali ma ad alto potenziale.
Che la bici sia oggi un volano per l’economia e il turismo sostenibile è ormai evidente, soprattutto nelle visioni più attente all’ambiente e all’inclusività. Ma il fatto che, per il decennale, IMBA Italia venga ospitata in un castello storico circondato da un giardino secolare è anche un segno concreto del riconoscimento istituzionale raggiunto: la MTB non è più una nicchia, ma una risorsa.
