Little Mountain Group Ride: BearFest Weekend
Group Ride Details:

What:
A 15ish mile group ride featuring Buchanan State Forest Bear Valley Division's Little Mountain Trail. The ride is part of a weekend celebrating Bear Valley Trails - Saturday features a Little Mountain loop and Sunday features a Broad Mountain Trails loop.

Little Mountain Trail features technical ridge top riding with a lot of big rocks to play on. The final 3/4 of a mile is downhill that features boulder rock gardens and hand built trails that need to be seen to be believed. In addition to Little Mountain Trail, the group will also ride the Wagon Trail reroute and most of the Three Bears trail.

Expect 5 - 6 miles of gravel and 10+ miles of singletrack. The trails are old school east coast chunk and have the back country feel. In comparison to Michaux, expect similar type of technicality.

To be clear, a group ride means just that - no drops. However, if you do not enjoy tech and gnar, you probably will not enjoy this ride.
