Montana Enduro Series: 2026 Enduro Pescado event

Queue up a hair metal playlist for the Enduro Pescado. It’s everything you need for good tacos and the best racing in Northwest Montana imaginable. From the top of the lift to the bottom of the run, you’re going to be grinning from ear to ear. Glacier National Park in the back yard. Techy, steep, rocky, palm-removing runs down, and a base area that leaves nothing to be desired. What else could you expect? It’s Whitefish. Outside of our homebase of Helena, Whitefish Mountain Resort is the longest-running stop on the Montana Enduro Series.

Race Timeline:
Friday, August 7th
All day: course open for practice. MES volunteers will be setting stage starts and finishes.
12:00 - 6:00 packet pickup at the MES tent
Saturday, August 8th
7:30: racer check-in opens at the MES tent
8:30: packet pickup closes; unclaimed entries released
8:30: MANDATORY racer meeting
8:45 race start
3:00 course closed
In addition to podium prizes, we’ll have plenty of great gear to raffle. Prizes and awards can’t happen until all results are in. RETURN YOUR TIMING CHIP AS SOON AS YOU FINISH.

Lift Tickets
Lift tickets required for race-day riding are included with your MT Enduro registration. Race-day lift access remains valid until 5:30 PM. Standard ticket prices apply for any riding on days leading up to the race.

Camping
Camping must be purchased in advance online. Space is limited, so please purchase early.
Camping for this race will be located in the Willow Tail Parking Lot near the Base Lodge

Camping Rules
Please follow all camping rules while on WMR property:
• Camping is only permitted in the designated Willow Tail Parking Lot.
• Display your camping pass on the dashboard of your vehicle.
• Open fires and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
• No littering or glass containers.
• Trash receptacles are available in the camping area.
• Park only in designated areas and leave space for other campers.
• No hookups or dump station are available.
• Pets must be leashed at all times on WMR property.
• Please pick up after your pet.
• Be respectful of other campers.
• Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Parking
Parking is available in all open WMR parking lots.
RVs are only permitted in the designated camping lot. Please do not park RVs in other resort lots.

Services
Food options and bike supplies on the mountain may be limited. The WMR bike shop and general store do not carry a wide selection of parts or supplies, so racers should plan ahead and bring what they need.

Course Closures
There will be course closures and designated access windows throughout the event.
All racers must follow posted closures, race tape, signage, and instructions from race officials and WMR staff.
Racers who do not honor closures may be disqualified.

Spectator Access
There are no spectator lift tickets available for this event.
Best spectator locations based on course sections and ease of access:
Careless Whisper
Best viewed first thing in the morning. Located just above the main lift plaza.
Cyndi’s Loppers / ZZ Top
Good viewing access near the lower forested areas above the finish.
Spectators must stay off the race course and remain well behind race tape at all times.
