VARDA and the Valemount Mountain Bike Committee are inviting you to participate in our first ever Funduro
Whats a Funduro? Well, its an enduro race type event with a stronger focus on fun and enjoying our trails.
Our first enduro will have 3 stages. Two will involve pedal access via all or portions of, the climb trail known as Munday Grind and the third stage will be assisted by PEAK SHUTTLES
To keep things simple we are only having four categories this time around and all participants will ride the same course:
-Open Men (16 and over)
-Open Women (16 and over)
-Youth Boys (under 16)
-Youth Girls (under 16)
The event will be timed with state of the art equipment supplied via Spruce Race Timing Inc. The details of the three stages will be released one week prior to the event!
There will be an awards ceremony and post event celebration at Three Ranges Brewing Company that we highly encourage everyone to attend. This is an all ages celebration will take place outside in the vacant lot next to the brewery. Food and beverage tickets are required for everyone wanting to partake in good food and good beer. There will be small entry fee for non event participants to access the site due to regulation.
