2022 HammerFest XC
Race Details:

XCO style of mountain bike racing comes to HammerFest. A new Race Director with new ideas will make for some fast and fun loops in a true Olympic fashion. Multiple laps on a relatively short course with punchy ups and fun, flowy descents.

Experts - 6 laps
Intermediate - 3 laps
Beginner - 1 Lap

The start section of the race will begin on the gravel service road close to the main parking lot of the Englishman River Falls Park. The race will continue on older double track logging road as racers leave the Park and head into HammerFest.
NOTE: This start section has two narrow pinch points before exiting the Park. A Race Marshall will monitor these points but racers will have to control their enthusiasm and speed and pass through in single file for safety reasons.

The main, loop section of the course is located entirely within HammerFest featuring the usual loamy, single track trails with the standard amount of rocks and roots thrown in for good measure.
