Pretty good conditions when the sun is out! Trail is mainly dry, except for On the Rocks, where some mud makes for tough uphill. Downhill generally fine. Amazing views, amazing trail!! Prevalent Mudview

Fun trail. Chunky with tight switchbacks. Most of this trail is a no fall zone. There was no issues with any smoke from fires. Larches were about a week away from peak season. Idealview

Saw a black bear on 9/5 just above the junction with LESS is the boardwalk area. It was crossing the trail and was neither aggressive nor scared Idealview
