Heavy downed trees have been cleared by EMBA/Trails Collaborative from the south end at Thompson Pass to the north summit, and from the north entrance to Gobblers knob. Many trees down between Gobblers Knob and the North Summit still, but should be clear by next week. Variableview

The north end of TR to Gobblers Knob has been cleared of downed trees by the EMBA/Trails Collaborative crews, but expect to see more trees come down with Spring winds. Variableview

The southern end of Thompson Ridge Trail from Thompson Pass parking area to the "donut" has been cleared of trees by the MT/EMBA crew. Riding great. The donut has not yet been cleared, and trees and snow past that point. Variableview

Snow present after the first brief descent. Maybe a week to go until that patch is clear. I quit and rode back down the climbing trail. If everyone kicks 100 pine cones off of the climbing trail it'll be cone free by the end of June! Very Dryview

Trees down throughout the Coal Creek/More Cowbell loop. Minor patches of snow on the upper climb (and new light snow from last nights storm) but generally tread is in great shape. EMBA will be logging out Coal Creek and other Sun Mountain trails throughout April, so look out for us as you ride and grab our attention before trying to pass. Variableview

ebike Awesome trail with great flow, both up and down. Did Buck Up to make it a loop. A little brushy in spots but still fun. Very dry, and the only cows were at the bottom at the start of Buck Up. Very Dryview
