hike Tree down about 400 yards before the beach still. But you can crawl through a doggie-door and make it through. The last section connecting to the beach has a set of ropes to assist. No big deal if your agile but it’s definitely a challenge we didn’t expect. Idealview

trailrun Trail itself was pretty well maintained (very rooty w exposed rocks and some muddy spots) until the upper section around mile 1.3. Tricky continuing along the upper portion, fallen trees and ruts cut into the side of the hill. However, it was our first time there so could have been an offshoot of the main trail. Overall, a nice climb and lots of old growth trees to keep ya company Smile Variableview

hike Despite the intense rain this weekend, the trail is wet but not too muddy. There are some eroded/rocky sections right before you hit the top. These sections have been like this for a few years. Wetview
