The Pinhoti Trail's 335 miles cross the Southern Appalachians in Alabama and Georgia, connecting to the Benton Mackaye Trail in the beautiful Cohutta Wilderness with opportunities to link with the Appalachian Trail and the 1,000 mile Mountains to the Sea Trail. This list covers the Georgia section from the Alabama border to the BMT.
Most of the trail is multi-use allowing mountain biking and horses, but there are extensive sections of road walks, some on busy roads.
