The trail is in the best shape its been in years. The very top section near the 30/Wild-Mad Road is not as well maintained, but everything downstream of Red Mountain Creek and the St Jacques Trail is in great condition! reporter Idealview

Was really nice yesterday after a big rainstorm. 3 down trees uphill from the old growth Redwood segment. All in obvious places from a DH perspective. All could be cut out with a hand saw. Went out and back so unsure about the South Fork side of the trail Dryview

In great shape. First three miles are a constant climb. Top section on ridge is beautiful and fairly level. Dryview

Some standing water at the very top and very bottom. Very rideable even 24 hours after a good rain. All trees across the trail were cleared 11/27. With the exception of the large downed tree about 1.5 miles up that is incredibly slippery when wet and will make you crash Wetview
