Han forteller at framkommeligheten blir påvirket mens hogsten pågår.
- Det kan bli lagt tømmer over turstiene. Og vi blir nødt til å krysse stiene med maskinene. For å minimere faren for skade, vil vi forsterke disse krysningspunktene. Tømmer, greiner og kvister som er brukt til forsterkning blir fjernet når vi er ferdige med å frakte tømmeret fram til velteplass, sier Carlsen.''

''Glommen Mjøsen Skog will start logging in parts of Åsermarka in Askim on April 9.
Logging will take place in Åsermarka from approximately April 9 to the first half of May.
It will still be possible to use the hiking area while logging is in progress, but be aware of forestry machinery and timber transport. The safety distance to the forestry machinery is 90 meters.
The timber will be stacked in log groves. These can be dangerous and must not be climbed on.
The forest owner wants to take out this part of the forest now, because it is ripe for logging. There are also trees here that have started to rot and fall. For the safety of those who travel there and the age of the trees, the forest owner therefore wants to cut down and plant new forest with a mixture of deciduous, pine and spruce.
- We will not drive on the hiking trails, so they must be clearly visible and usable when we have finished driving out after logging, says forestry manager Espen Carlsen.
He says that accessibility will be affected while the logging is in progress.
- Timber may be placed over the hiking trails. And we will have to cross the trails with the machines. To minimize the risk of damage, we will reinforce these crossing points. Timber, branches and twigs that have been used for reinforcement will be removed when we have finished transporting the timber to the tipping site, says Carlsen.
