SaveThe Libro Centre trails is a multi-phased trail system in Amherstburg, Ontario developed for mountain biking. Beginning with Phase 1, Windsor Essex Bike Community (WEBC) created an official land stewardship agreement with the Town of Amherstburg to build the first set of trails that were completed in June 2023. Phase 1 consists of three downhill trails, a return climb trail, and the first loop of a larger planned XC cross county trail These trails were built by volunteers and completely funded by local community donations.
Phase 2 of the Libro Centre Trails was completed in June 2024 adding 3 km of new trails and Essex County's first ever sanctioned jump lines
Future phases of this project are currently being planned for more trails that will be added to the Libro Centre trail network. Future phases will hopefully be completed over the next 18 months.
