This little known trail network is frequented by locals and "in-the-know" people passing through town. The trails were upgraded in 2009 but may not have seen much maintenance since then. This network is labeled according to the local map produced by the regional district so "black and "blue trails may not be what you are used to, remember trail gradings are localized and subjective. This is a multi-use network as well so be aware of other users.

      From Former Local Website:

The trails are suitable for all levels of hikers and mountain bikers. You could spend an hour or a couple of days to explore them all. There are a total of 12 km's of trail on the mountain and 2.1 km's along the Kettle River. The average grade of the mountain trails is approximately 12% with a maximum grade of 25%.
