The department of Sololá located to the west of Guatemala City is a beautiful part of the country. Home of Lake Atitlán one of Guatemalas three largest lakes, as well as the volcanoes of Atitlán (3535m), Tolimán (3158m) and San Pedro (3020). It contains some great riding trails with fantastic views, definitely a place worth visiting and exploring.
