The Travesia sector is located 25 kilometers south of the city of Copiapó. The area is characterized by mountains of steep slopes and just enough rock, becoming technicians and fast trails, demanding to the maximum the physical condition and concentration of the cyclists. The trails constructed in the sector are a good option for the cyclists with an aggressive style of Enduro and Freeride, product of the multiple variations of the obstacles in the trails and combinations between them.
If you are a fan of mountain bikes and you like the tranquility, the landscape and technical and demanding trails, this is the best option you will find in the vicinity of Copiapó.
There are several trails that are currently under construction by a local group called Travesia Trail Team, who carry out the maintenance and care of the sector.
