Description:
Quirk-Wildhorse, Saturday morning. Great "old school K-Country" conditions overall, as dry as it ever gets. Elbow River crossings shallow and easy. Logging road going south between main gravel road and meadows has been reclaimed for 1.5 km, by covering with logging slash. A rideable path off to the side has been beaten out a bit, but is tedious. On Wildhorse coming back from the canyon viewpoint I noticed 2 on motos using what appears to be an alternative route to the reclaimed logging road, from just after the bridge where Wildhorse turns towards the valley heading west. See attached photo.
