Description:
Like others have reported, the last mile before the intersection with Storey Burn (heading clockwise) is starting to have more overgrown vegetation. For late August, the trail is clearer than what it normally is. There was a State Forest ranger out trying to clear out a swarm of bees mid way through the loop that had gotten to a group of hikers, one other mountain bike rider, and a few horses. The trail is getting more use this year than in others; hence, unfortunately, aside from the overgrown vegetation, the other obstacle to be on the lookout for is horse poop!
