Oct 16, 2026 @ 5:41pm (America/Los_Angeles) Oct 16, 2026 | mtb Bridge Update that I got from the Tillamook Team via NWTA: "ODF is involved in the planning for a new bridge construction, but it definitely won't be getting replaced this year. Lots of considerations around new location, impacts to waterway, and cost." | Ideal | view
Oct 12, 2026 @ 11:31am (America/Vancouver) Oct 12, 2026 | mtb No trees down. Clear and fun! I figured it was the prison crew doing the trail brushing work (ref sep 28 report) because it is very thorough sightlines are vastly improved. I hope they do the whole loop! I did have my small handsaw with and touched ~dozen little things: previous cut downed trees, small stumps, branches, etc; all protruding somewhat into the trail corridor. Still able to cross the creek feet dry (where log bridge has been removed) See pic. | Ideal | view
Sep 28, 2026 @ 3:42pm (America/Los_Angeles) Sep 28, 2026 | mtb Prison work crew on the trail today cutting back the overgrowth between miles 5-7. It's in great shape in the areas they've completed. Also some non-prison folks cutting back the growth in the open glade beginning at 0.6 miles after the first long climb. | Ideal | view
Sep 20, 2026 @ 10:03pm (America/Los_Angeles) Sep 20, 2026 | mtb One tree down between Beaver Dam Road and Wilson River. Log bridge over Wilson River at the end (going CW) has been removed. OK crossing upstream. Brush is starting do die back but the rocks are getting slippery. | Dry | view
Aug 23, 2026 @ 5:07pm (America/Los_Angeles) Aug 23, 2026 | mtb Cleared this very annoying pair a few days ago. ( I was riding storey burn loop and included an out-and-back down rogers to get these). a few other trees still down on loop, AFAIK, nothing major. | Dry | view
Jul 25, 2026 @ 3:26pm (America/Los_Angeles) Jul 25, 2026 | mtb Riding well, but pretty overgrown in spots from roughly 6:00 to 10:00 on the loop. Also there was a stranded 4 wheeler on the singletrack at around 9:00 | Ideal | view
Jul 21, 2026 @ 5:25pm (America/Vancouver) Jul 21, 2026 | mtb 3 sets of downed trees. Prior is still there and two more joined the party. One is maybe 4" slightly uphill from Storey Burn. | Dry | view
Jul 5, 2026 @ 9:43am (America/Vancouver) Jul 5, 2026 | mtb | Ideal | view
Jun 3, 2026 @ 1:09pm (America/Los_Angeles) Jun 3, 2026 | mtb Small tree down across trail, can navigate over or around | Unknown | view
May 13, 2026 @ 8:52am (America/Los_Angeles) May 13, 2026 | mtb The brush is starting to grow. Trail running race May 16-17 so maybe not the best weekend to rip through. Tree still down by Elliot Creek and final log bridge still closed. | Ideal | view
May 2, 2026 @ 8:53pm (America/Los_Angeles) May 2, 2026 | mtb No brush, recent trail maintenance, mostly dry, what's not to like? One tree down between University Falls and Wilson River, much closer to the river. | Ideal | view
Apr 18, 2026 @ 12:34pm (America/Los_Angeles) Apr 18, 2026 | mtb Multi-Org MEGA maintenance day on the full Roger's Camp loop. Trail has been brushed/cleared/raked throughout. Trail is in fantastic shape. Get it while you can! | Variable | view

Feb 5, 2026 @ 2:09pm (America/Vancouver) Feb 5, 2026 | mtb I rode it CW. Super nice. The NWTA did a chainsaw log-out a couple of weeks ago it looks like they cut out about a dozen (some big) trees, so the trail is clear! A few rotten small trees must have fell since, but I was able to move. The log bridge (across devils lake fork) is still "closed". For ~1/2 mile prior to this, brushing has been done on a badly overgrown segment. But in general, the Jul 2025 trail reports below still apply (lots of brushing yet to do). Quite a few hikers (~6) w dogs out enjoying this beautiful trail on a gorgeous day! | Ideal | view

Nov 8, 2025 @ 9:52pm (America/Los_Angeles) Nov 8, 2025 | mtb Slick after a week of rain fall and leaf litter. About 8 trees on the trail | Wet | view
Sep 8, 2025 @ 4:14pm Sep 8, 2025 | mtb I cut and removed the two trees (noted in the last two reports). Trail is now clear. Log bridge is still closed but creek is still low for a feet dry crossing. Trail is a little damp and grippy ! large section need a Bushing as always | Ideal | view
Jul 29, 2025 @ 5:26pm Jul 29, 2025 | mtb Two trees down. Riding CW, the first is just after the first hairpin. The second is not long after the final clearcut. Getting a bit brushy; long finger gloves and some arm cover suggested. | Dry | view
Jul 9, 2025 @ 8:58am Jul 9, 2025 | mtb The hedgetrimming I did last year on the first 3 miles is holding up fairly well. A lot of the the rest of the trail is getting quite overgrown, but it is still a nice ride (the flowy sections on this trail are awesome). Just beware of pedal catching hidden stumps. Two med trees down (easy to get over), one near the start one nearer the end. Log Bridge is "closed" but currently one can ford the river (on rocks/log) without getting wet feet . (rode on July 8 ). | Ideal | view
Jun 13, 2025 @ 2:18pm Jun 13, 2025 | mtb Going clockwise: Tree down after the first hairpin where the trail splits. Brushy after the final clearcut and before the new trail. | Ideal | view
Jun 7, 2025 @ 9:59am Jun 7, 2025 | mtb A little overgrown in spots but all in all the trail is in great condition. | Variable | view
May 21, 2025 @ 12:05pm May 21, 2025 | mtb Still a little wet in a few spots, perfect everywhere else. Tree down near the start, bridge is still closed... | Variable | view
May 6, 2025 @ 10:22pm May 6, 2025 | mtb New tree down across the trail at the beginning, to the left when going clockwise. Running event May 9-11 so maybe not the best weekend for riding this trail. | Dry | view |
