  • Wet - wet & tacky, likelihood of mud, be kind to trails

Description:
Slippery rocks and huge mud puddles made this tricky on the uphill (we went from north trailhead to Johnson pass lake at mile 9.5 and then back to north trailhead), but fun on the downhill back out. Trail was not too overgrown and the fall leaves are gorgeous right now. Though I would recommend long pants to avoid getting scratched up by the underbrush.
