Aug 04, 2014 Summit Springs Trail Report

The upper-middle section was harvested (thinned) this past spring. But the trail gnomes spent an entire weekend sun-up to sun-down cleaning up after the loggers. The trail is currently completely clear of fallen trees, branches, spear shaped sticks, and debris; and safe to travel at speed again. Note: 173 is a high speed descent! Also a few new berms here and there to help increase the flow. There are a few spots with some loose shale that will make it very lively. Mid-summer is prime season for this spectacular trail. Go shred it!
