AZT - Alamo Canyon Trail Report - Dry - Dec 8, 2021

Picketpost is usually one of my favorite big rides but it is running a bit rough right now. Horses have made the first couple of miles pretty loose. Then, you get into the fire section where there are lots of small rocks in the trail tread and grass has grown up in the burned areas to obscure your visibility of what's ahead. Sometimes this is a fun one on the XC bike but right now bring your big bike and meaty tires and plan for a rockier ride than usual. Let's hope some maintenance gets done this winter to restore this great trail!
