Description:
We always ride the Picketpost section to the south and had never tried this section to the north. Now, I can see why very few bikes come on this route. There are a few interesting moments early on but also lots of gates, sandy washes, and generally rocky trail. Whereas Picketpost has beautiful rocks and views, this route takes you into rolling hills on a fairly uninspiring trail that is primarily used by horses and sees very little bike traffic. It's all passable but don't expect much flow or speed.
