Dec 09, 2021 AZT - Alamo Canyon Trail Report

Picketpost is usually one of my favorites. Went out for the first time since the fire and it is a bit rougher now. Lots of horse tracks on the first couple mines, then the burned section has a bit of loose rock in the trail tread and new tall grass everywhere that makes the rocks hard to see. Usually love to go out 14 miles and then turn around but pulled the plug at mile 6. Not xc friendly right now but on a bigger bike with meaty tires could be okay. Hopefully some trail maintenance will happen this winter!
