Description:
Rode Big Elbow to Threepoint Mountain and rode up to the meadow where it intersects Old Forgetmenot. Elbow River was running low (4 m3/s according to river report) and was easy to ford. Lower half of Threepoint Mountain trail was dry. Upper third had some snow cover. I left the bike behind and hiked the last two km. The marshy areas near the meadow were less marshy than usual but my feet still got soaked. Meadow was dry and snow free. There were fresh bear prints in the snow. No mosquitoes. Lovely day and trail!
