Description:
Actually, much better than we had expected. South side is quite dry, but pushki and other plants are begining to encroach. As we neared the lakes, the amount of going around overgrown bushes on the trail and over ones that had fallen was prevalent and difficult. Many swacks as you pass by them. Bugs were moderately nasty. Coming along the north lake, more of the same bushes and swacking. In a few places the trail and streams merged, but it was rideable. Signs of bear scat, but no sightings.
