1513 Trail Report - Ideal - Jun 21, 2022

Major progress was made Saturday, June 18th 2022 toward rescuing the 1513 trail from the exceptional downfall of the past two winters. A majority of the trees were cut out by a small team of highly motivated 1513 enthusiasts who hiked in with large chainsaws and plenty of snacks. The supervisory K9 on site approved of the work carried out, stating that the team members were a credit to the human mountain biking community. More saw work is planned for the coming weekend for 1513 and the surrounding trail system. Otherwise, trail conditions on 1513 are outstanding. Also, an exceptional amount of snow was observed on Sheep Mountain. The condition of the associated trail is unknown but will be investigated this coming weekend.
