North Mocassin Trail Report - Snow Covered - Jan 2, 2023

Skied the whole trail on 01/02/2023. A couple dozen or more down trees across the trail. Most were easy to get over or around but got more difficult the farther you went down. The bigger concentrations were above the big lower meadow. Lots of dead trees waiting to fall. Trail would be difficult for bikes until cleared in the summer. Trail could also use more blue diamonds as it is shown on map as a ski trail. Had a great ski anyway and the powder was delicious. First tracks on it for the winter season.
