Description:
Torn up badly on the top half and some unrideable. With the rains the cows have made the trail really bad at the top. I have a 170/170 Full Squish and it was even bad for me, and I don’t mind rough tech. The mud / cow combination has made the top half of the trail all foot deep holes and ridges. It will take a couple of months of dry weather and hikers to get it close to normal. The bottom half is better. If you still want to do this trail, take one of the cutoffs down from the fire road to the half way point. You’ll have a better ride. Also, first timers should go about 70% or less because there are a few exposure and tricky points that will sneak up on you if you try this trail at Mach Chicken and don’t know it.
Last thing - This is a BLUE TRAIL. It’s a disservice to any of the newbies or folks with little kids who think this is going to be an easy green. It is not.
