Description:
A lovely trail though with some sections near the Smith Rock Chalets being narrow with tree roots and rocks to navigate. It's doable for a novice mountain bike rider like me but the going is slow. Later on, the trail widens and becomes quite level. I have a Trek Fuel Ex-e class 1 (pedal assist) mountain ebike. I don't think I could have negotiated the trail without the motor helping out.

 In general trail reports are used to describe trail conditions. Fallen trees, overgrown, mud, dusty ect.
