Description:
WARNING: in addition to several mandataire hike-a-bike sections due to flooding, there are a few very wet and slippery sections. More specifically, at the very end of Rock Oven, just before reaching the logging road, there is one particularly slippery slick rock. It may only appear wet however the rock is covered in extremely slippery algae. I myself had my front wheel wash out completely only to land on my hip on said rock resulting in a fractured femur. Speaking with other riders this week, several others had bad bails or very near misses on that same rock. If I could, I would hike up to put caution tape and/or signage to deviate riders from that devil rock. Be warned!!
