Description:
Cleared smaller down trees across the trail with handsaw. There are still about a dozen larger lodgepole pine trees across the trail that a chainsaw would be preferable. Most are below the lower road. Firewood cutters left a bunch of debris across the trail where it crosses the lower road.

Skied in a track all the way to the Ridge Road and back on 2/11/24. Good conditions, 1 large tree down that can be easily skied around. view

The down trees across the trail noted in the earlier September 29, 2023 report have been cleared. need more snow for skiing now. view
