Description:
Saturday May 26th rode portions of the Divide Trail mainly west from the intersection on the ridge with forest road 7012. Not knowing anything about this trail I was pleasantly surprised about the condition and quality of single-track. Very low traffic loamy surface with most fallen trees cleared. Snow and mud in some sections but easily navigable.
The very short steep section I hike-a-biked east of that same intersection has been severely rutted from dirt bike traffic and erosion. Didn't have time to explore over that next East ridge to the east end.
Overall, with some hard work and time this trail can be another gem for mountain bikers and hikers in the 410 Greenwater area.
