Description:
Top third was in good shape with some ice hiding under the snow pack. Middle third was an icy gong show - what looked like dirt was actually a dirty ice pack with very little traction, if you can't straight line it without brakes your going to be in a world of hurt. Bottom third was back to good packed snow traction with a few icy bits (you could feel the change to cold as conditions improved).
Ride out on Prairie Creek was good with mostly grippy packed snow.
