Description:
Great views and flowers but the upper section is pretty poor riding. Overgrown and drainage issues force you to ride freestyle above the trail in the meadow grass. This section needs some serious work. I would recommend riding second yellow mule as an out and back.

All clear and dry for 5 miles, 8900’, above the second creek crossing. Snow banks above there, should melt completely in a couple weeks. view

Dry and cleared of trees up to the logging road view

 That one section just needs lots more traffic riding in the grass to create a new track, it’s like this some years for the last 20+ years. The rest of the trail is riding great!
