Significant damage to bog and vegetation in the mid sections 30m+ wide damage in places.
Carn Ban Mor is a much better alternative and avoid "ill feeling" towards bikes in the hill.

As per previous comments, this trail does appear to be harming the hillside. It’s so wide. If you have to use it it would be best to ride down... view

Lots of mud due to recent heavy rain. Avoid riding until a few weeks of dry weather have dried out the middle section! view

Excellent trail good going on all surfaces view

 Perhaps we were off route etc but it was mostly peat bog and a very wide mess from people trying to avoid. Total waste of all that elevation using this as the decent VS Carn Ban Mor. Worthwhile as a climb and doing the loop clockwise, but riding this in the wet is a surefire way to upset landowners in an already sensitive area.
