Very overgrown with many trees down. Forest service was flagging the trail in preparation for clearing it later this year/early next year.

Trail is bit overgrown now. Still fun if you have hand guards otherwise I'd wait for the fall. view

 Actually, the website is wrong, It is not open. Nor would the FS mark tress to be cut later as informed by the crew themselves. It will stay marked closed here until I get the clearance to mark it open. We plan to work it this spring to help get it reopened.

 Your right. I will confirm with the ranger as they had them all marked open even throughout the actual closure after the telegraph fire. If they did go ahead and open it I will change the status to open here. Thx

 That is one of the reasons the trail is closed to public use.
