Mar 01, 2025 Windmill Road Trail Report

I down third flats to the river and up Windmill to Tab in attempt to loop back on Little Park Rd at Bangs Canyon. Windmill is certainly doable on a gravel bike. I did it with 50cc tires. Would recommend as the whole route is more 4x4 jeep road rather than gravel forest rd or dirt BLM rd found throughout the area. There climb is steady with two or three steeper sections that will get you anaerobic. Beautiful views some sections are softer and more rutted out.
