There is a small amount of bouldering three fourths of the way there , and at the very end , if you choose. But the mica and the uartz deposits are before any of the bouldering. Mar 1, 2025 @ 7:28pm Mar 1, 2025 | mtb I down third flats to the river and up Windmill to Tab in attempt to loop back on Little Park Rd at Bangs Canyon. Windmill is certainly doable on a gravel bike. I did it with 50cc tires. Would recommend as the whole route is more 4x4 jeep road rather than gravel forest rd or dirt BLM rd found throughout the area. There climb is steady with two or three steeper sections that will get you anaerobic. Beautiful views some sections are softer and more rutted out. | Dry | view | ||

I rode it on a gravel bike and got a more adventure than a bargained for. Would not recommend on a gravel bike due to the sustained tech descending going down to Rough Canyon and prevalent stretches of fine loose sand making pedaling on anything less than 2.5 in tires impossible.
