May 02, 2025 Velvet Grind Trail Report

Installed another 2x10 tributary crossing, mowed and dug the side hill traverse below hunters seat, cleared several bigger deadfall logs and prepped a cedar slab bridge feature (left to dry, still to heavy to move), mowed the terminus area up to and beyond Sitka log bridge, cleared and dug creek crossing, corduroy install over one drainage area (still needs a bit more work); after several mowing passes on the new bypass we placed tarp material pinned down over invasive weeds to be covered with gravel/soil;
