Description:
This section of Goulds Rim Trail is a blast to ride. The designers took into account the overall landscape—topography, washes, geology and soils to create a natural feeling rolling contour trail tread—a long pump track!!! The trail however is actively eroding (vertically and laterally)and needs some tender loving care to save it: grade reversals, open channel drains and gutters on the inside of corners.Trail also needs Administrative controls regarding season of use—don’t ride if soils are near or at the plasticity limit(sticky mud and visible ruts from bike tires—users who don’t care) I rate this trail as follows (1 is real bad 5 is perfect): fun 5; sustainable 3; designed to blend into the landscape 5..
