Description:
Trail Closures at Glenwood – Harvesting Operations Starting May 19. Forestry Corporation has confirmed that harvesting in the northern blocks of Glenwood State Forest will begin on Sunday, May 19. As a result:
- The Bottom Trailhead (Boree & Cargo Rd) and lower sections of Trail of Awesomeness & Galinbundinya will be closed.
- Access is still available from Mitchell’s Way.
- Upper Galinbundinya and all downhill trails will still be open.
Shuttle users can follow the same route used during the recent DH event.
Operations are expected to last approximately 3 months, depending on weather conditions. Please respect signage and exclusion zones — these closures are for your safety.
