Description:
For the Kachess Loop portion of the trail, I rode it today. All the downfall trees had been cleared. There is snowfield right at the beginning of the hike a bike section that you have to sidehill. It’s not long, it’s difficult, but as the last report said, very doable if you go slowly. The rest of the hike a bike, and remaining trail were clear of snow. There were a lot of bugs and it was a little muddy in a couple of spots. Overall, the trail conditions seemed like they were pretty ideal. Super fun descent with a lot of loose, but fun to ride tech. While there are some steep pitches, the gradient is in a nice goldilocks zone.
